Here in our FAQ, we aim to answer everything you might want to know about your stay. Except who has the best pizza in New York. (We still can't agree on that.)



General

Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?

Our hotel is 100% non-smoking

How much do you charge for high speed/wifi internet access?

Whether you're plugged in or not, IHG® One Rewards members get complimentary high-speed access during every stay. 

Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?

Yes. Our fitness center is open 24/7 and  is equipped with free weights, treadmills and ellipticals,

Do you offer room service?

The hotel does not currently offer in–room dining but is happy to assist in selecting alternative meal options.

Do you have a business center?

We do have a small business center desk where guests can print.

Do you have a pool?

No, we do not have a pool.

Do you have a spa? What are the hours?

We do not have a spa.

Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?

The hotel is dog-friendly. The fee is $30 per dog, per day.

Do you offer courier or package collection?

Yes, we offer courier and package collection for $5 per package.

What are your cross streets?

We are located on the corner of Park Avenue and E 38th Street

Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?

Self parking at Central Park, $55 for cars and $65 for SUVs, per day (subject to change)

Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?

No, a taxi or ride-share are the best available options

Reservations

Are there any additional charges to my room rate?

Yes. Daily Facilities Fee of $35 includes the following:

  • Complimentary premium Wi-Fi, unlimited devices
  • Complimentary local calls, unlimited
  • On-site fitness center available to guests 24/7
  • 2 welcome waters
  • $10 USD laundry/dry-cleaning credit per stay
  • 10% Saving voucher at Ole & Steen Danish Bakery
  • 10% Saving voucher at Neuhaus Chocolates
  • 15% Saving voucher at Bloomingdale’s

 

 

 

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?

If you made a reservation using a non Kimpton website please contact your service provider directly to make modifications to your reservation.

What forms of payment are accepted to pay for my room?

A valid credit card is required to check into the hotel. Payments in cash, by credit card, gift cards, or travelers check (personal checks are NOT accepted) are accepted at check out.

What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?

Special rules may apply for guests under the age of 18. This varies by hotel so please contact the hotel for further information prior to making a reservation.

What is your cancellation/deposit policy?

Reservations must be canceled at least 48 hours prior to your arrival date, 6pm local hotel time to avoid a one night's room and tax charge to your credit card.

Is my ID/passport required at check in?

A valid government issued photo ID is required at the time of check in.

Do you have ADA rooms?

Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include modified bath tubs with bars and added facility, and some include a roll-in shower.

Do you have an early departure fee?

The hotel may charge an early departure fee up to one night's room and tax.

Concierge

I want flowers, chocolates, champagne, gifts sent to the room. How do I do this?

May I request packages to be shipped to your property? Are there any fees?

Guests may have packages shipped to our hotel. Handling and storage fee is $5.00 per package. 

Packages arriving more than 2 days prior to guest check-in are subject to additional fees. Guests receiving packages heavier than forty (40) pounds should make arrangements with our concierge. If a package label has a name that does not match an in-house/arriving reservation or it is not claimed for fourteen (14) days it will be returned to sender.
